Jon has been part of the Hull & East Riding faith2faith project from its inception as a creative interfaith dialogue for 14-19s. He has worked with a wide range of schools in both authorities, in the classroom and on location in communities such as the Buddhist Centre near Pocklington. His work is creative, inventive and stimulating. He is in touch with contemporary youth culture, working as an artist alonside teaching professionals. Young people respond very positively to his technical input and they are enabled to make high quality videos which have been screened both locally and by other youth groups around the country. Jon has recently set up a faith2faith blog and he will continue to work with the young people as we move into the next phase of the project. Who Do We Think We Are? is a community cohesion project, in partnership with the BBC and WISE, which addresses identity and diversity. This is a major piece of work and Jon’s technical input is central to its success.
