Matt

Hello and thanks for coming to have a look.

If you’re interested in all of the background info about how-and-why this project got off the ground, then take a look at the earlier postings – from now on this is going to be about the actual experience; what it’s like to go from the east of England to the west of Africa – who we meet, what they do, what we had for dinner, what the sunset was like… how it felt.

We fly from Gatwick in London on Friday May 5, and arrive at Lungi in Freetown mid-evening – hopefully to be met by Andrew from iEarn. Then a helicopter flight into the city and check into the guesthouse. We’ll spennd the weekend chilling and acclimatising before cracking on with work Monday.

As soon as we can sort out internet access we’ll post daily, though this might not start ’til Monday May 8.
Most of the time I’ll be taking care of the words, Murray and Jon will be supplying links so you can see film and photos.
